We are open Mon – Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We service not only all of North Carolina but multiple businesses throughout the United States.

The office is closed on weekends and holidays. We will work if we are facing a deadline or an emergency, or on special occasions when our clients absolutely need us to.

Virtual Receptionist FAQs

A virtual receptionist works as an extension of your business. They are your clients’ first impression. We can schedule for you and do anything a traditional receptionist can do at a fraction of the cost.

Each client has a receptionist assigned to them who will be their point of contact. If your receptionist is on another call someone else will fill in. Even though you will have an “assigned” point of contact, we work as a team to fulfill your needs.

Absolutely! You will keep your business number.

We send messages in real-time and we can send via email or text. Also, at the end of the day, you will be emailed a daily call report.

If they are answered with the same greeting. Yes. We have many clients with unique needs and requests. Most of the time, we are able to find a solution that fits perfectly to accomplish the objective.

All of our receptionists work out of our Waxhaw, North Carolina office. We use no remote phone banks or call centers. Every service is performed in-house and aloof our receptionists are employees of RAC Consulting.

Yes, we are able to patch calls. If you have a caller that you need to speak to you, your receptionist will call you and let you know directly. If you decide it is a call you want you are immediately connected. If it isn’t a call you want, we will take a message for you and send you the details.

We will take a message and send the message to you in the exact way you want.

We don’t require any long-term agreements. You are never locked into a contract. In fact, you are never “locked” into anything. We are don’t need long-term contracts because we are confident that once you use our services to simplify your business workload, you will be happy with the results.

We can provide you with a regular phone number or an 800 number. If you end our relationship that number can be transported to another carrier.

We ask you to notify us of your availability. Everything is under your control.

Yes, you can use our service whenever you want. We make it simple for you to let us know when or not you are available.

Payroll FAQs

Yes, you can. We only advise that you make sure your employee qualifies to be exempt.

Yes, we do offer direct deposit at no additional cost.

Every state has different regulations. Your payroll coordinator will assist you in determining this.

Yes, we can hold the taxes and pay them when they are due.

Bi-weekly payroll is every other week, and 2 months a year there will be 3 pay dates. Bi-monthly payroll is usually 2 specific dates of the month and there will always be only 2 pay dates.

Yes, it would be helpful to know so we know to not continue payroll and get the correct tax information to their estates. 

Mistakes happen. We can assist you in making the correction on the next payroll as well as notify the employee of the error.

We charge a monthly rate based on how many employees and how often you pay. Our rates are very competitive.

Yes, and we have software to make sure every check is signed. Everything we do here are RAC is focused on saving you time and money.

Bookkeeping FAQs

When hiring a bookkeeper I think the most important questions to ask are:

  • Does the bookkeeper know your software?
  • Do they have experience with your type of business?
  • Are they insured and bonded?
  • Remember this person is going to have a lot of personal information and you want to make sure you are protecting them.

We offer training and setup to get you correctly on your way. RAC is here to help you do tasks you want, not tasks that we want. In other words, you are in control. If we can save you time or money, we will let you know, but you are always the boss.

We offer every aspect of bookkeeping and clients can pick and choose how much or how little they need. When we have our initial consultation, we will go over all our services in detail and you can select what works best for you.

We charge an hourly or monthly rate. Again, whatever works best for you.

We provide you with full financials on a monthly basis or upon request. Whatever works best for you.
